What Maintenance Measures Does Your Lawn Need?
It's time to start thinking about your lawn. If you've been putting off mowing, we're here to tell you: it's time to get up out of that chair, throw on some shoes, and get to work! It's going to be a beautiful spring season, and we want you to be ready for it.
Here are some maintenance tips for your lawn:
- Mow at least once a week during the growing season. This will help keep your grass healthy and green.
- Trim back any overgrown or dead grass in early spring (between February and May). You can achieve this by cutting off the top 2 inches of grass with clippers or scissors, or if there isn't much of an overgrowth, you can use a broom or leaf blower to remove the dead grass.
- Remove any weeds that have sprouted up after the first mowing of the session. You can remove the weeds by pulling them out by hand or spraying them with an organic herbicide.
